. Killing animals so that we can grow a monoculture like grass is awful. Dig up the grass, put in some flowers, shrubs and veg. When the moles dig holes they will be less noticeable and you can use the lovely fine soil for sowing seeds in. Who needs lawns by chloet

plants or summer bedding. I'm using home made liquid seaweed to feed stuff in the GH everything seems to be growing well apart from chillies and peppers, they are still way behind and I've only one aubergine plant in flower with a single fruit. I read by mjtclayton

herbs in oil
there's something we don't know. I've put garlic cloves in virgin olive oil for years and am still alive.   Chillies and basil too.    And I've done strips of lemon peel in gin for a friend who likes G&T ebfore dinner when she stays and chillies in vodka by Alan4711

Mycorrhizal Fungi
I used Mycorrhizal Fungi in all my fruit and veg plants last year and had really noteably bigger crops (especially chillies).  Has anyone else noticed a difference when using this? I am surprised at that. The advice from the manufacturer by yorkbonsai

Tiny black flies
the plant out a month ago, and have since started growing some new chilli plant seedlings in the same area, and lo-and-behold the flies are back. We do have a couple of other plants in the room but you don't really ever notice any of the flies around them by Huntertony

Planting seeds in the greenhouse
perspex roof and is probably about 7 degs during the day.   Sorry to say-not warm enough-this is why it is worth waiting so after germination the correct conditions can be provided for growing on Cheers geoff guess im going to have to take over by Kirsty3

hi all, im a new mum and want to grow as much as i can to feed my son. im pretty new to this however everything ive grown in the past my dog decided eat! Because of my dog and my soil is really clay based im doing everything in pots or baskets as i by realnewbie87
