Best blue flowering plant
I grow lots of blue flowered plants. What's your favourite? How about linum perenne to start? In summer, and grown next to santolina lemon fizz....yellow foliage....and behind a yellow osteospermum it is a real eye catcher all summer long. well by Verdun

Climbers for north facing fence in pots
afternoon shade, where I'm trying to grow hosta's and have planted shade loving shrubs, an 8ft high fence to the left provides no shade after lunch and  plants get full sun till dusk. When do you get the sun or is the area always in shade? I'd go for clematis by cjblue

x Hoya is definitely a houseplant. Though Hoya is a lovely plant, it is a houseplant in this country. Both Clematis Freckles and Trachelospermum are lovely choices. Why not grow both intertwined  I'm assuming it's a sunny spot?  Also Clematis by pinkpeony
