Talkback: Growing courgettes
I am growing courgettes in the greenhouse for the first time this year. I'm not sure if this is a good idea - maybe they would be better outside but I don't have much room. I was wondering, do they need all their leaves or can I remove some by Rickem

Talkback: Growing courgettes and marrows
the winter and to give away. You can also grow ball shaped courgettes / marrows. The bigger ones are fantastic stuffed with bolognese (as per Deirdre's comment) and baked in the oven. You also have the option of hanging on to them till halloween and using by karen bell

courgettes
I am growing courgettes (defender) in pots, and they are going soft and rotting at the flower end. This has happened in previous years, not just because this summer has been very wet. I remove the flower head, and any yellowing leaves. Any tips by jenny wren

Courgette Help
We're growing three courgette plants. So far we've only had one Courgette (plenty of flowers though). The flower at the tip of the courgette has now come off. Is this the right time to harvest a courgette, as it is still quite small? Should I wait by Huntertony

Split stem courgettes
Often when I grow courgettes (in containers), and sometimes with pumpkins, the plants split their stems just when they seem to be developing well. Is it a watering issue? I try to water consistently and reasonably. It doesn't seem to be a fatal by paull2
