Not all bad news in the garden
! dmball my strawberries were exactly the same but all my other veg is doing well I even have cucumbers growing this year and I thought they needed a lot of sun and as for my flowers they all seam to love the weather at the moment as they are all in pots I by Palaisglide

holiday watering in greenhouse
on automatic 4 times a day for 10 minutes each time.  Thats to do our gro-bags and all our cucumber plants in pots.  I'm using an Autopot system for the first time this year. I have 6 pots at the mo. I can't quite believe the plants are getting enough water by Lindylou3

toms & peppers (in a propagator) relatively late, i.e. mid-April, then housing them in the greenhouse till the end of May (I grow lots for a village plant sale). BUT this year, they've not grown strongly and are so TINY, I may only be able to charge 25p by oldchippy

Why did you all start gardening?
helped my dad with the weeding and hoeing. Then when l was five l was given my own small patch next to the greenhouse where l would grow radishes,lettuce,a few peas l would always eat raw,candytuff flowers l would grow for the faeries to pick! My jobs by Busy-Lizzie

only had 1 melon) and bad crop of cucumbers. I noticed that at the end of the season all my veg wanted to start growing and the courgettes etc. put on loads of female flowers just to be struck down by the frost. I dont know when my plot was last worked by Lorna

there several reason for your growing problem in you green house.1. you pot size probally to small beefsteaks need at least a pot size of a half meter or greater.2. you soil is not in right ballance3. you are watering irregularly4. gardener delight by Anonymous

Choosing a greenhouse
waiting to go to the allotment. I plan to grow tomatoes, cucumbers and chillis in it. Its been a bit of a learning curve and i hope to learn from my mistakes. Hello and welcome. Best advice that I can offer is to get the largest greenhouse you can afford by MandyB
