Cucumber stem rot ?
One of my cucumber plants has rot - I think. The plant is about 5 foot high (in the greenhouse) and has been priducing fruit for several weeks now. I noticed yesterday that where one of the leaves meets the main stem, the stem is rotting and white by Daisy Cottage

Seed buying
to munch them like carrots so finding some really hot ones is a top priority. I have selected a chilli called Prairie Fire which only grows 6inches/15cm tall . The cucumber i grow is Telegraph Improved which is good value for money as some cucumber seed by Kate Bradbury

Cucumbers
I am new to gardening and am growing for the first time. I have some cucumbers grown indoors from seed. they are now about 6 inches high and ready to plant out. Is it too early (too cold) to do this now? Also, the seed leaves have started to dry out by Worm2

Tomato Growpots, any good?
the dammed things falling over. maybe i will give them a go and then one of us will know for sure I use them for growing my cucumbers - we got ours as part of a competition prize so didn't actually buy them. I think they are useful for cues as it is easy by LeadFarmer
