)next to the window at the moment. Hi I have bought cucumber seeds that say they are outdoor. Very stupid of me as I normally grow them in the greenhouse. So my question is this? will outdoor cucumbers do well in the greenhouse or should I buy another seed that says by Anonymous

Talkback: Late harvest
my corgettes have been doing well for the last 2months, must be the sunny seaside weather! I'd love to know what I can start growing now - either to produce veg for the winter - or to get ready for spring. I am new to growing veg being lucky enough by Russ

Re-using polystyrene for veg seedlings
I have about six ordinary polystyrene boxes that had bedding plants in, you know the ones that come in 6 3x2 cells. Would they be ok for putting veg seeds in ( courgette, cucumber, tomato ) ? as I'd quite like to reuse them instead of them going by In focus

What's it like in your garden?
.  The cotoneasterwas in full flower by 9th May last year but this year it is nowhere near flowering. This will be the third year I have kept visual records of my borders to capture the beauty of the plants I choose to grow and also to help me make by Wintersong

1st ever greenhouse!
year of growing in a greenhouse and it is my pride and joy. I have been able to get decent tomato crops at last without the dreaded blight getting them. I also grow lots and lots of chillies  cucumbers and herbs and also start off all my other veg by Tilley Bancroft

Talkback: Growing veg in containers: keep it cropping
Due to extremely chalky soil I am growing all of my veg in containers. This is my first time growing veg, done cucumbers and sweet peppers in containers and salad leaves in a basket. Working well so far, cucumbers will be ready in a few weeks by lusia62
