Looking for flowers to 'fill in' a border
could grow from seed or buy small plants from the garden centre.  They should flower well into the autumn red or white astrantias? Tradescantia - likes shade, pretty colours. I am planting some in my own shady border sometime this spring by Chris 7

the veg were as happy! I have one of those gardens that seems to be totally oblivious to the real seasons and produces it own. I have fuchias and roses going in shutdown for the winter and have wild primroses growing as if its Spring. Whats going on by Brian Bliss

Aldi garden stuff

Bamboo taking over the world.... Okay, garden.
Hello! I made a post last week in the fruit and veg section about how to grow veg in a bed that there is bamboo planted, and I was enlightened as to what a 'thug' bamboo is, and it was suggested to dig it up as it's just going to get worse.I have by Loz46

Hardening off flower seedlings in plastic greenhouse
I have about 50 seedtrays of flower seedlings, ( Livingstone Daisy, Dahlia,Antirrhinum, Coleus, Pansy, Sweet william, Petunia, Aubrieta  I also have about 50 seed trays that are germinating very well but not ready. These have been kept in my south by Wendy treehugger

A beautiful rose that will not flower

to feed the birds today & even the start of new buds on the rose I transplanted in November. J. Blue bells are starting to show in my front garden, it's some what sheltered though and they grow by a wall.   In summer here in France plants and roses by budlia63
