Talkback: Seed Club - early seed sowing
Hi All. I'm a new grower and at the moment I have some lovely tumbling toms on the go, and have just seen the first signs of my water melon seeds popping up in the propagator. My Dahlias are appearing too. Has anyone grown cucamelon? I've seen them by SMURF

Stupid weather!
at least Mid-May Check the label what does it say? Antirrhinums are hardy Are these seedlings or plants?? Seedlings will need growing on to develop a good root system before planting out. Where does a seedling end and a plant begin?! Both types have a few by Noob Gardener2

Talkback: Bird feeding - make fat cakes
These tips are really good, and I will be trying them out in my garden. how do i divide a large dahlia corm and can i grow them in large pots 1st class advice & information. Helps me do my bit for the environment. Won't the fat cake fall apart when by mudpack

problem solving
in plastic tray s with holes in for aeration. A Lot of them seem to root or do not perform as well the next year and I do feel them during and after flowering. Would it be an idea to store them like dahlia tubers in dry compost? any help would be much by torsi

Too early for annual seeds?

fast growing shrubs
I need to plant a few fast growing hardy shrubs in order to hide a neighbours eyesore. They are to be planted alongside our driveway in the front of our property.  Any suggestions please. well how big are they? how big do the shrubs need by SAH

Seed Sowing
of growing seeds and its not going too badly. Ive used those little peat pots which found for £1 for 36 of. Ive got Mesembryanthemum, Stocks, Diascia, Lobelia, Mirabilis, Dahlia, Nasturtium, Gazania and Zinnia seeds all doing well on my South Facing Window. I by Mattbeer87
