What to sow in January
talking about? You could sow sweetpea now, I always sow in the autumn but again anytime now and I've been growing them for years. Also what about Cornflowers and Calendula, they could be sown now too perhaps. I do have a covered back yard with perspex as a by nodlisab

when is the best time of year to sow biennials such as digitalis, delphinium, and lupins I'd sow foxgloves (digitalis) now, or you can also sow in March/April. Lupins are hardy perennials, and I'd sow in Feb/March if possible, as plants raised from by Sarah, Bournemouth

they have been in flower for about a week..too bliming early its cause of warm weather everything is blooming to early.have loads of strawberrys too. we have sunflowers growing in tubs..love them..so easy to grow as well..the bees love them too . Oh yes by old chippy

June in Your Garden!

How have your gardening tastes changed over the years.....

Slug invasion

Slugs may destroy my life
Hello all my lovely gardening folks. I've tried everything. nematodes pellets beer the lot.  last year my garden was destroyed by slugs. My lovingly nurtured dahlias were eaten to the ground in one night. No delphiniums survived. Green brands by Rampant climber

Talkback: Hostas, slugs and snails
. But, can you tell me if I need to change the soil or add feed or something. I just leave the pots alone, let them stay out all winter and they just seem to grow very well. I have 4 hostas slugs don,t really bother with them maybe an odd nibble but if i by N Freeland.Somerset
