Gustissimo Two Timer Fig plant advice
Hi all I have bought a Gustissimo two timer fig plant - first attempt at figs for me. I have read that they need a large container (around a foot).im wondering whether I should start the plant out in a smaller pot until it grows and needs repotting by Michelle Daltry

Any ideas as to how to encourage my Fig tree to fruit? it's 5 years old growing against the south side of my concrete garage with its feet in a pile of rubble (It was sugested when i bought it that I restrict the root growth to encourage it to fruit by rosad1

Fig tree
Hi Now the weather is getting colder at night should I wrap up my fig tree. I have about 4 figs growing do I keep these, they are bigger than a pea, is that correct, or should I take off the larger ones and keep the smaller than pea figs, very by Chris9

to be eating figs this september, but no. We had some raiders who stripped it one day, or could have been just one, any way I hope that little squirrel had the 'runs' because he ate the darn lot!!Needless to say we will have fleece on the next lot that grows by Jane Moore

Fig Trees 'Brown Turkey'
Please can anyone give us some advice? We are growing two Brown Turkey fig trees in our conservatory, last year we had loads of figs but all dropped off before ripe, the same is happening again this year. We have been feeding with a tomato by Lynne Skye

Brown Turkey Fig is Dying
!  This spring I have had no sign of a leaf and of the three branches, two are dead and snapping off.  Whats gone wrong and do I cut my losses, throw out and resign myself to the (disappointing) fact I just cant grow figs!!  Any advice gratefully received! Do you by Jocee

Where to plant a Fig?
big pot and good soil for at least a few years to grow it a bit bigger before trying to encourage fruiting Elderberry, Is the fig related to a date.I germinated three plants this spring and they look exactly like my cucumber plants by elderberry

I've inherited a mature fig tree that had a fairly good crop last year, it looks like it hasn't been touched for a few years,certainly not 2 or 3,lots of twisting crossing branches which look lovely but it's getting a bit out of hand, want to take by Louise Stevenson

We have recently bought a brown turkey fig tree. The garden is south facing and we have a 6 foot fence down each side. I was wondering where it is best to plant, on the east or west facing fence? My idea was to train it to grow along the fence in a by daveinnorfolk

, is it possible to grow a fig tree in this country in a pot on the patio.  Would like some advice before I buy a fig tree as they look expensive. I live in the Lancashire area so can get rather cold in the winter but my garden isn't open.  Have you experts got any by Chris9
