Best hedging shrubs?
Lavender makes a beautiful hedge and bees love it. Fuchsia ditto.  A mixed hedge of native shrubs and trees is there for centuries and a benefit to mankind. If you're planting a big hedge, a mixed, native hedge is a great idea, as happymarion2 by SFA

when to take fuschia cuttings
potting them. They are growing really well but I'm not sure they'll be in full bloom this year but I don't mind waiting! When I pruned my fuchsias a few weeks ago, rather than throw all of the stems away I took about twenty cuttings, all about 4" long by tony ralph
