Garlic Shoots

Talkback: How to harvest garlic
for harvesting? I believe you wait until the plant has flowered and the leaves have withered, then it is right to harvest. Haven't done it myself yet though as this is my first year growing garlic! I love both wild and bulb garlic...but this has inspired me by Denzle43

My Garlic look more like shallots
After watching Friday's Gardeners World I took Monty's advice and harvested my garlic as the leaves were looking rather bedragled & limp and well as the title says my garlic looks more like shallots. It's my first attempt at growing garlic by tattianna

Garlic - progress report
that the bulbs form? Simple answer is no, it's unlikely to be any further on than when it was planted other than having developed a root system under ground. Garlic will grow when the weather starts to warm up. If it's got healthy looking top growth by Bf206
