Talkback: Plants for shade
Leishout If a garlic solution works, would it make a difference as a companion plant? I didn't know about the season for growing garlic, and it was available as growing bulbs in a store near me, so I planted some a couple of weeks ago. Just wondered by Galic and Snails

Rust on garlic
Hi, for the last 2 years my garlic has grown really well until about April/May and then got really bad rust resulting in very small bulbs. Any ideas how to stop it happening this year? I live in Sussex, and water them well, and rotate where I grow by Shuv

Veg Growing Plan

My hardneck garlic is falling over
in for awhile and see if they'll grow more. Is there anything I can do to improve their chances? Will caning them up help at all? We don't seem to have any garlic experts here at the moment, I didn't get any replies when I asked the same question a few days by gd

Tiny white bits on plants.
. Greenfly don't lay eggs. I think the white bits you are finding are the skins shed by the aphids as they grow Pam x I've wondered for years what those white things were......thanks Pam  The garlic mix seems to have got rid of the greenfly by Zoomer44

What is this....
Hi there, I have something which has taken over one of my garden beds. It looks like grass, however, it appears to grow a lot quicker. When I dig it up there are countless numbers of clumps of bulbs. I tried clearing the area last year, however by David Flaherty
