Those wonderful blue salvias
them the plants usually are fine thereafter.As with hostas, hellebores, fuschias, etc these are highly addictive plants. Some salvias grow 7 feet others just a few inches. I grow pineapple sage....rich pineapple scented leaves ( brush against by Verdun

Plants still in flower?
and forgot about so were left out on the drive are still flowering despite a couple of heavy frosts and still have roses and geum in the garden. Well into Nov we had plants from every season flowering at once.  Seemed very strange to have hellebores flowering by Kate Bradbury

favourite plant
are beautiful. Hi gardengirl. Can I have more,than one?. My favourite plant right now is mahonia; soon it will be hellebore......so flowers. But, in summer my fruit and veg are my favourite. Runner beans for me too in the veggie line. Flower - English by Gardengirl..

Help
hellebores are fantastic and have been in flower since before Christmas - through all the snow and cold and are still looking great. For summer I have Astillbies and though they grow very tall Japanese anemones do well. I've ordered snakes head fritilliarias by CalB

Hellebore's
shady spot the question is this,  is it shady all the time, or just through the day,  I have a North Facing and an East facing border so which would be the best for them,  I've never grown these before. Hellebores are woodland plants, so normally grow by Rainjustlearning
