Talkback: Growing herbs
Topol and Rasputin were surnames! I always grow herbs every year and get a good turn out every year. The problem is that herbs grow so much that other herbs don't get light and if they are sprouts then they could quite possible die. How can I stop by James A-S

I have got two small pots of mint and a pot the rosemary and a bay tree. I am going to have a go at growing Coriander, never grown it before. Couldn't live without my herbs, if nothing else the smell of them is just wonderful. I'm trying by donutsmrs

Fert Schedules
Would one recommend plant feeding with a balanced fert in Autumn/ Winter esp when transplanting or wait until Spring. I prefer using lood hoof and bone meal  for majority of veg and herb plants but use sparingly in Autumn. Feed in the spring when by potatoes

new to computers so bare with me if i make mistakes. can i grow herbs from seed now in an unheated greenhouse? I'm in north west area. many thanks Most of our herbs come from warmer climes so I'd leave it a while. More likely to rot than germinate by Marg48
