Container plant -acid and shady
other ideas? Thanks Noodle I love heuchera but have stopped growing them in pots now as I've lost too many to the dreaded vine weevils.  The ones growing in the borders have all been fine. Gentians!   Heucheras worth a try. Ajugas, small varigated leaved by Supernoodle

Ground Cover
I have a gravelled area of 40 square metres. I would like to plant low growing gound cover ( 4 to 6 inches high ) prolific flowering or multi coloured leaf possibly. What do you think of 'Heuchera ?'. Any suggestions please ? You don't say if it by Stephen Lawrence

Plant for tub under carport - light but no sun
begonias grow in shade. If green then hostas, Brunnera Jack Frost; if purple, I have a heuchera Plum Pudding in a pot in shade, perhaps other varieties of heuchera as well. Hosta would be a good idea, and I could keep an eye out for slugs !! I will have by Mari Williams

Heuchera's
I wondered if anyone has some good tips for getting the best from their Heuchera's.  Mine always look a little bedraggled and tend to grow up leaving a bare stem underneath and become very vulnerable to snapping off. Any advice would be gratefully by AliP

Talkback: Rose pot display
poco triste no? bit gloomy the purple heuchera and violas under our dull skies now? I'd underplant a white rose with a variegated vinca and white winter pansies. Glow in the twilight. Purple just disappears. Or it would look good with good with RED by titaflan

2 plants for large pot
I aquired a large old terracotta pot this week (40 cm wide, 30 cm high - inside measurements). I would like to plant Agapanthus Loch Hope as it is pretty hardy with 2 Heucheras. Will this combination work as far as soil needs? I would mix grit by artjak
