Seed packet grumbles
Why do seed packets contain so little information?  I purchased some seeds from Sara Raven but regret it constantly. There is just not enough info on how to grow the seeds! For example - Morning Glory... they need more than just popping into seed by Outdoor girl

Late winter cuttings - what next
I took some cuttings in September and a few have overwintered with minimal growth. I have been taking the tips out of the long growing shoots when they appear. Some cuttings look better than others! What now though. I split them from the cutting by * Red Dahlia *

Buddleia
it in greenhouse ...for the second (it grew very fast) potting I put it outside. Protected young plants, hardy or not, grow better than those left to fend for themselves outside and will outperform them in their first year. Hollie hock it will be a bed to screen by bunnysgarden

Bees, Butterflies and Blooms

My new project. Where do I start!
's not to late to sow some holly-hock and foxglove seeds in little trays (to be potted up to flower next year). They're both tall and colourful flowers, and might look nice growing against the fencing, if they would grow there (holly-hocks like some sun). Hi by Insomnia1973
