bulbs in pots

true leaves and so on)? They are growing very straight, with about 3 proper leaves, which is why I wondered if they need pinching out to become bushy. Guess we'll both have to wait and see what others say Hi both, I would say pinch out.  Grew them last by Matty2

Growing Eryngium
Hi I am thinking about growing some Eryngium, like Blue sea holly. I have a south facing garden and would like to place them in a border. Has anyone else grown these and what were your experinces of the height and width? I was inspired by seeing by bcosergio

Hardy annuals
pots............I'm thinking it's alright to plant out now? I've started planting stuff out and will keep my fingers crossed. I planted my cornflowers out a few weeks ago hollie, and they've survived some dreadful weather, even frost. They were a bit by hollie hock

know why they die? I should have thought box would be quite happy there. Agree about the artificial stuff. The green's not very realistic to start with and doesn't improve with time. My first thought was to grow a  shade tolerant clematis up an obelisk by Planter2

good effect of a wet summer
cardamines thrive there. No chance of growing them in my garden, the soil's like dust. without being caught could gather some off the wild plant and mimic its growing conditions Derek Haven't seen any sign ofmy C. pratensis this year figrat but I'm sure by nutcutlet

freesias from seed help!
than seeds. Although I dont have them in my garden. Maybe have a look at bulbs Hi hollie It is lovely to watch the seeds you have planted grow & turn into beautiful flowers! Nothing more rewarding. As for the freesias I have brought some seeds from by Gloucestergirl13

Helllo. Would love to know what these 2 plants are. The first the orange one, I'm guessing it's a weed but I like it,also smells good. Does it have any benefits for wild life?  The 2nd, I thought it was some sort of holly hock but now I'm not sure by Hollie- Hock

Lurking under pots and trays
and squashed them Wow that's great nut Do they eat slugs? They do hollie hock. Natural predator, better than slug pellets. They grow into crocodiles you know. Perfect for keeping next door kids out of your garden They are lovely, I really like thier feet by nutcutlet
