Common Laurel Hedging?
fast growing hedge, a hedge that can take the abuse my young boys will doubtless give them. I have built a retaining wall and would like to know how close I can plant them to the wall and how close together, I propose to buy the hedges at approx 1 metre by William Nicholson

Hedging
are the plants you put in? What's the soil like? Hi I have put in Oak,Holly,Dogwood,Dogrose,Alder and Hawthorn. The plants are 2year old whips. I am on a good clay soil. Thanks for your response. Holly and Hawthorn can be hedge or tree, but Oak and Alder by stuart 5

,would expect your hostas to grow quickly to make good show this summer but maybe bleeding heart will need growing on to flower next year i have had two orders now from parkers both perrenials six astilbles were great coming on nicely the six holly hocks well i by Andy19

Carnation/Pinks
I would like to introduce some carnations/pinks back into my garden , had some but lost them in those really cold winters . Was wondering about growing from seed so I have more as replacements if necessary and bigger clumps. .....or am I better by Bunny..

Hollyhock Rust
or so.   Can I replant holly hocks in the same place or will the spores over winter in the soil and just reinfect me all over again? Do the rust reistant ones actally resist rust? Or anyone have any other suggestions for another plant that might work by Sparklepinksunflower
