Talkback: Growing honeysuckle
Very interesting. I didnt realise they were woodland plants and should be planted in the shade. Though saying that - my honeysuckles planted along a south facing fence do much better that the ones planted along the northwest facing fence!?! by ChristyRose

Honeysuckle
Just bought two honeysuckle to grow through my hedge will they go straight in the ground not sure of soil quality and there's a path at the other side ? Honeysuckle will grow in almost anything :P Water plants during the summer if rainfall is less by gill barker

Honeysuckle and Clematis Flowerless :(
Hello again everyone..I found out just yesterday that apart from my 2 Ville de Lyon and Ernest Markam Clematis' not flowering our neighbours Honeysuckle hasn't either and last year it was superb..We think that maybe the Alder Tree planted in yet by Watermelonice

Honeysuckle
has flowered ok) does anybody have any idea what has caused this? I would say the problem is the container. Honeysuckles are not suited to growing in containers and would get root bound very quickly. They are a woodland climber and grow very tall by Valerie Duffy

honeysuckle growth
it well watered and fed(general purpose) keep pruning to  a minimum and train as needed. Can anyone tell me whether honey suckle grow clockwise or anti-clockwise please? I have a honeysuckle over an arch, which has leggy growth but no flowers. Would by Lesley 4

Is artist conk (fungus) dangerous
I have artist conk growh on my euclayptus tree stump.  They look quite pretty so I have allowed it to grow for 2 months now.  However, it seems to be starting to affect the honeysuckle plant that is growing around the stump. Will it eventually by hyatan

with this as well. Thanks Is the first a climber? It kinda look like a honeysuckle. 2nd is cotoneaster I think I agree with you both, honeysuckle and cotoneaster was my thought. yes agree 1st is a honeysuckle and 2nd is a cotoneaster  good for you getting rid by Deborah Jones

Help Identifying self seeded plant
Can anyone help identify this plant?  Two self seeded last year, I pulled one but let the other grow (with anticipation) but I can not identify it!  I hope this uploads okay -   Any help appreciated, I do not know whether to let it be or not by curlyone

Hi all! In the field where I walk my dog I am always overwhelmed by the scent of some lovely flowers. They grow at the edge of a brackish bit of field. The stems are red and intertwined, with green leaves and one of these flowers on the top. I by Petal Power

quick climber i can plant in august?
they didn't grow very high, they did flower last November through to the spring.    This summer they have put on a lot of growth and virtually meet in the middle of the arch now. Can you grow Freckles with roses? I grow a Pair of honeysuckles either side by susannah_c101
