Garden Planters
about ornamental grasses too. I simply love grasses and grow several. Consider a beautiful blue grass called Elymus Magellanicus...it's also evergreen and still match blue convolvulous. Or, how about carex Comans Bronze? This has a fountain of fantastic by Ryan Lloyd

What did you do in your garden today?
physical weakness at the first knuckle on the floweriing stems so each year I support with thin canes then they will flower upright til the autumn.  The golden oat grass is lovely plant. If you don't grow this then do. Planted some perennials and hardening by LeadFarmer

do keep the slugs at bay. I also try to grow plants that slugs and snail don't like, lavender, lambs ears, astilbe, ferns etc. I have tried to encourage as much wildlife as possible into my garden and have lots of bird feeders, sun flowers, poached by Lizzie the gardner

weed, plant or veggie?
we've found a couple of these growing in our garden veggie patch. when small they looked similar to our potato plants however now they're much bigger they don't look anything like potato plants. we've had a lot of seeds move round the garden caused by Mizz

Too cold to relocate perennials?
that although the plants are growing (slowly), and daytime temperatures are above freezing, night time is below freezing, so I'm wondering if I should wait until both day AND night temperatures are above 0C before moving anything. The things I want to move by Tim Burr

Plant advice needed : damp shade

Garden Problem Area
