Growing Lavender from seed
Hi there, This is my first time on here so hope I'm doing it right... Basically I have a packet of English lavender seeds and I have tried unsuccessfully for the past 5 years to grow them from seed. I try and do what it says on the back by Ryan Lloyd

Is my Lavender dying
Hi I have a French Lavender plant and its been looking great, but lately since it has flowered it is looking slightly limp.  Looking at the plant the centre is looking as though it is dying and black. I did think of cutting it back but not sure what by Chris9

pruning lavender
?  does anyone else do this?   I'm not really sure, got a couple of leggy lavenders here, growing in less than ideal conditions. Don't think it will do any harm cutting off the dead bits by rosa rugosa

Lavender - how to plant/space out so as to let plants thrive?!
evergreens to 'prettify!' the garden the rest of the year. I am somewhat confused as to how plant these out - spacially - or how to grow them on, as it were - I think that is the phrase the specialists use! ,-) I have seen such large bushes of lavenders by ASunnyAspect [GW]

Artemisia abrotanum / Southernwood
I was just wondering why is Artemisia abrotanum / Southernwood not seen in any gardening programs or magazines. I am a fan of this shrub and for me it beats lavender any day but it seems not to be that popular. It will survive warm dry summers, wet by Michael Sands
