White moss/fur on newly germinating seeds
Some of my seedlings have started to develop a white furry moss. Is this something to be concerned about? I remember getting a little of this moss when growing some lavender from seed for a little while, or is this part of the germinating process by Huntertony

soil types acceptable to lavander
think you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Growing lavenders in these conditions will just give you poor quality plants which seems a shame when there are plants that would be ideal. If you really want lavenders they would need to be grown by natures grafter

Wistera - a good dark coloured one - any ideas ?
I am planning to plant a wisteria to grow up the front of my house.  I currently have one in my back garden which is called Lavender Lace but, although very pretty and scented, the flowers are very light in colour. As my house is painted a cream by Lavender Lady
