Lillium
at this time of year-do not believe all you read   Or you could start them off in pots if the ground's frozen, and plant them out later on. Whichever way you do it, they need to be out of their bags. I grow all my lilies in large pots and keep them by junkbuyer

I give up!
have a wee sit-ootery there - which I haven't used once this year, drattit.  I put in loads of daffodil bulbs, deep down so I could grow other things over the top, and strawberries all round the edge; lilies and asparagus against the south-facing wall by francesmhendry

Kaffir Lily
-plant back into her pot with some fresh compost. Hi Carol, Kaffir lilies can be propagated from 'offsets' which grow from the main tuber and can be easily separated.  However, Kaffirs resent being disturbed and like being pot-bound, so it could be risky by Carol Mc
