Talkback: Dealing with lily beetle
of garlic infusion seems to flummox them (as does leaving crushed mint leaves and lavender in the pots later in the summer). Once the flowers are open though it's squishing 'em that seems the only remedy. I am a little worried by the amount of satisfaction by Tim Burr

Cats!!!
was cheap wooden skewers for cooking I broke them in half so they had nice splintered tips and put them in the ground as spikes. I put them through my cat mint which was permanently flattened.I had to use them round my veg in my raised beds too. Cats love by Bee friendly

plant support for crocosmia lucifer
hanging baskets over them before they have sprouted too much and they will grow through. My friend gave me this tip for cat mint to stop cats flattening it. If you have any of the old wire coat hangers, you can bend these to make your own wire hoops by suze2902
