confused..
and different information. Can anyone recommend a book etc... That will give me all the advice and information I need to become a good gardener. I am very interested in growing vegetables..please help! There are a multitude of books on veg gardening available by lisa berry

in single cloves for good results. I grow mine in an old bread tray every year and have had great success, although I am worried about the effect the rainfall will have this year. Forgot to mention. You can plant garlic up until February although the earlier by StaceyF

so far but the weather here is still very mild.  They will (probably) be back when it gets really cold. I grow teasels and evening primrose for the birds, they really like the seeds.  What other seeds attract them?  I should say that the fields here by rogerT2

USE BY DATE ON SEEDS
-in-law passed away last August and I have all his seed packets. I have sown Celeriac seeds and these were ten years old and they have germinated and are growing very well in my greenhouse. I've also sown Brussel Sprouts, these were also over ten years old by Eileen Peck
