ahead?? I have a hobby of growing Avocado Pears from seed , they make nice house plants & my current one is 3 ft high. They do take a long time to germinate, but it's fun to do.I currently have 3 on the go, small but ok, I water sparingly from the bottom by Anonymous

which is no longer available. We have some scorch damage but we have had a lot of damage to fruit due to the three hail storms we experienced in July. Plums, apples and pears are all pitted, however the raspberries ans black current seemed to have by Stonehenge

A chapter of a book

also saw the teenage leaves (half juvenile, half mature) of the mimosa trees and I cannot wait for this rain to stop to go looking for the teenage leaves in my monstrous ivy plant up my pear tree. I think the magazine could do a series of articles by happymarion

Get Rid of your Lawns
! Bob flowerdew has great knowledge and wisdom about growing plants but he is wrong about lawns being scrapped. If I copied his garden my local council and neighbours would complain. Lawns are a bit of work but great to relax on, to play on, to see by Palaisglide
