Autumn sown sweet peas
Cath! I started mine in early March and they're not a patch on yours, although they have really enjoyed the recent warm weather. This year I'm trying to grow mine up an old oak tree stump as well as in patches in the garden. Well done, Cath and as Leggi by CathRJ

plicata in your pot, it is a small slow growing Golden Conifer I have had some for years and they give a year round show for little effort apart from a light trim and a feed now and then. They like a slightly acid soil and the gold turns to bronze by pansy2

And there was I thinking my ivy arbour over my old pear tree was just for the blackbirds. Thank you, Richard, for great blog on bees. I can't wait for this wind to die down to get out and do some voyeuring among the ivy. Really interesting by happymarion

Health and safety!!
Golden Rod, lovely for cut flowers. I can't seem to grow it in my garden, the slugs get it before it has a chance to grow to any size. They'll be digging the grass up next, isn't grass pollen a big problem? I am sure we never used to have so many allergy by Rosa carriola
