sweet peas
. There wasn't any difference in germination. Have you tried different methods of growing things and have you seen different results? I agree. I prefer to grow my sweet peas and garden peas in pots or trays in the spring and then plant them out late spring. I by Emma 2

p.s i only grow veg turnips cabbage/sprouts/broc/caulie/punkings/leeks Brassicas do not like newly manured ground. Peas/ beans etc do. Don't plant carrots or parsnips there. They will all split into many fingers. Only plant them in beds that have by shaunandnicola

quick climber i can plant in august?
I bought a metal arch in the spring and have tried to grow sweet peas up it but had to grow them in troughs and i don't think they are big enough as the sweet peas haven't grown very well and since we had the hot weather last week aren't looking too by susannah_c101

Talkback: Pollen beetles and sweet peas
I have a dog and have been told that the tree lillies I am growing are poisonous is this true. My sweet peas have been covered in pollen beetles and no amount of shaking gets rid of them is there anything i can spray them with ? The best way really by Sweet pea

Trouble germinating sweet corn
All my toms, chillies, beans and peas are all growing well but my sweetcorn incredible and market more cucumbers which remain around 18-20c have not germinated and looking for tips to get them going. A bit early maybe? This may nelp http by Jay12

ground cover plants
i have a north facing small garden covered  with pea shingle i am after ground cover seeds that i can grow on  any ideas please Hi nip, try ivy, dog violet, vinca, and cranesbill geraniums. These are all low growing and grow happily in shade. Best by nip

Too early for annual seeds?
