Is it the end for pelargonium?

stem. Leave it alone for a while and see if the green bumps turn into new shoots and foliage.  Most people grow lemon scented pelargoniums for the foliage, not the flowers, and mine has never flowered in 3 years but I make a great ice cream by infusing by spider plant

Reviving dried bedding, lost instructions
success but some of them are reviving Interesting idea, Kate. I'll be curious to see how well they grow, i.e., whether the dessication has any permanent effects. I must admit, I didn't believe that it would work at all when you mentioned it, so I by kate1123

Geraniums
seems to have a flower bud can i use the leaf of a geranium to use a cuttings.   thanks regards Chris Confusion reigns If it is a bedding geranium then it is not hardy-these are strictly called pelargoniums If it is a herbaceous geranium -that is hardy by Chris9

pelargoniums. can i ask where you got them from or if you tell me will you have to kill me!! I would grow your celeriac in a bed of the richest compost you have - JI no3 with equal oart of horse manure was my recipe for large ones like big nobbly swedes by Susie Fox

When buying plants from my local supermarket i occasionaly see the label "indoor and or outdoor plant" I dont understand this? Two examples-pelargonium and impatiens-what your a probably looking at something that is not fully hardy-but is suitable by Cia

How far back can I prune geraniums? geraniums or pelargoniums? geraniums   The little pink geraniums you can snip back with shears and with in  a week there growing back but it is now getting a bit late in the year and may be best left til spring by chainsawsal

Unknown plant/shrub
Hello everyone,been to a seed swop/very cheap sale today and came back with this amongst other things. The guy on the stall didn't know the name of it but it grows to be a big plant/shrub, has a flower spire bit like nettles he said. The leaves by hollie hock

Problem affecting impatiens, tomatoes and geraniums
and ensure watering is adequate. Busy lizzies do not like strong sun, the tomatoes are young plants with immature leaves so sensitive to sun.   I would be interested in other comments....some of my pelargoniums have white leaves but I do t suspect pest by pagnew
