PELAGONIUMS
Its the end of July and most of the pelagoniums I bought as plugs in March to grow on till May then put into beds have not yet flowered. In fact a few have hardy grown. I know the weather hasn't helped but why are the same ones flowering by lindapalmara

sowing time Geraniums
What is the best time for sowing real Geraniums (not Pelargoniums).? Pieter Hello Pieter, You can sow geranium seed in early spring. They will need a little heat, 15C is recommended - so it would be good to do it in a greenhouse or on a warm by Pieter de Kubber

pelargoniums....the indoor or bedding "geraniums".....or the hardy,outdoor ones? Hi every body, thanks for the replys,I have a lot of  fuchsias which when pinched out produce twice as Many flowers,was trying to do the same with geraniums but unsure exactly by Jazzy2

Slugs
bitten off cleanly but was not eaten. i suppose the snail spat it out and shouted "yuk" that tastes awful. lol They do nibble pelargoniums, which are often called bedding geraniums. The hardy true perennial geraniums seem immune. I've never noticed any by Bev Pounsett-Krynauw

agree that Gardenia can be overpowering indoors - ok for a litle while and then it gets too much. The common flowering currant shrub is one most people do not want to be close to. Some people find the smell of pelargoniums off-putting but the ones by Garden Hero

What plants go well with Freesia?
good with them? Will the foliage stay lush and green after flowering until the autumn? It's surprising how little little information there is on line! I have tried to grow them several times and failed miserably, they are supposed to be difficult by DavesBonnyLass

Bare root geraniums

perennial,hardy biennial.thank you flowers are a new thing I've been into I mostly plant veg . Hardy perennial-comes up every year -does not need protection-some live longer that others Half-hardy perennial-does need protection but will grow year after year by Tracysshed
