Petunias growing faster than expected
Hi, I planted some petunia seeds at the beginning of feb. Im a bit worried there growing quicker than i expected. I already have a bunch of small seedlings. Will this mean they grow to large for the house and that I have to put them outside before by David 25

Hi all I would like to grow some Petunia from seed this year to fill the hanging baskets.I normally just buy plug plants from B&Q etc, but this year I want to take full control. I am looking for the small flower variety, which from googling I think by Disponded

grubs problem
hi im a  first time gardener growing petunias but they are being eaten by what i can only guess is some kind of grub any help in keeping the plants alive and stopping the attacks would be appreciated, could provide pictures  if necessary thanks by Karen Mawhinney

Wedding Flowers
in these colours that I would be able to grow?  Any help would be HUGELY appreciated.  Thank you, Lindsay June 1st is still quite early in the year but I would say that Surfinia Petunias would be good for baskets and pots.They are available in Purple and Bright by lindsay3

Plant in pot leftover from last year - identify?
wet.  And now it's growing.  Do you think it would be sensible to try and take cuttings from this?  Although, somebody told me that these Petunias are supposed to be annuals only and that it's either difficult or a forlorn hope to try and propagate by yarrow2

can you save seeds from cut flowers?
. Seeds probably wouldn't come true. I've just collecting some petunia seeds from a petunia in the garden which has died off. If I sowed them at the right time do you think they will grow? May be I will try cuttings -  if the flowers don't make seeds I by Gardengirl..

success but some of them are reviving Interesting idea, Kate. I'll be curious to see how well they grow, i.e., whether the dessication has any permanent effects. I must admit, I didn't believe that it would work at all when you mentioned it, so I by kate1123

Buyer Beware
for hanging baskets - one of mxd seeds and other petunias. The petunias are lovely, but don't trail. The other produced only 'wildflowers', that is weeds!  Pink Campian, heartsease, cornflower and other things I don't know the name of (but they grow by Botticelliwoman

Petunias
I grew some petunias from seed last year but they ended up all long and straggerly, can anyone suggest why and what I need to do to stop them going the same this year. Thanks in advance Oh right- you have had another go When did you sow the seed by Danielm2323

just a lil' update
Hi all. i think i have been absent for a while now so i thought i'd update you on my progress so far petunias they are now permently outside in a cold frame. how do you think there doing?  this is my honeysuckle and is doing quite well by David 25
