When to move a Phormium Yello Wave
Hi, Could someone please confirm when's the best time to move a Phormium Yellow Wave plant...its starting to out grow its current position and I'dĀ like to move it to a more suitable position. Thanks for your help.. Never had nor grown a Phornium by Greenfingered Amateur

? It could be. The stems and flowers of Phormium Tenax are quite extraordinary. The flowers are clustered along long thick stems, about 6 to 10 feet up in the air.The flowers are also especially attractive to bees. It's not unusual to find half-a-dozen bees by seaside oldie

agree bamboos. (need to confine them) tall grasses, palms, Phormiums, can help achieve this. I think it's better to grow things your environment, soil, geographical situation and skills support. It makes for easier gardening and happier plants by bluejan

Advice required for low maintenance raised beds?
annual begonias in, they look very nice and once again low maintenance, just a little water when they need it. Hope this is of some help, good idea to look at the labels on shrubs to see how high they grow. Each spring with most of the shrubs I care by Fabio

Gaillardia death

as it is what you like that counts. Simple classy style containers....I would plant a single red cordyline or Phormium in one with convolvulus mauritanicus .....purple blue cascading flowers all summer....flowing over the sideConvolvulus cneorum .....lovely by Ryan Lloyd
