First early potatos
Once your potato plants flower, is it better to dig all the first earlies up and store the potatos inside or can I leave the potatos and plants in the ground and dig them up as I need them? If I want the ground to grow something else in, is it OK by andyben

Do I harvest my Potatoes soon?
Our potatoes have been growing in a potato sack since mid-April. The plants themselves are getting really big (we've even had to tie some to a stake to hold the plants up). When do you reckon would be a good time to start harvesting? Not sure what by Huntertony

Can I reuse, or should I discard?
I always keep the stakes to reuse next year. But is this a good idea?  Every year my tomatoes get Blight. And what about the containers I grow the tomatoes in? I always  wash these out before storing. Thanks for advice. Maggie I believe by staffsmags

Talkback: Potato blight
and delicious. I'm reluctant to grow maincrop spuds, for fear of the dreaded plague. Still, you can't beat a good crop of new potatoes! Our biggest problems were with Colarado Beetle, it meant going out each morning and picking the adult beetle's off by happymarion
