Why Are My Potatoes Producing Tomatoes
. Very odd. Any ideas?  The are the fruit containing the seeds of the potato plant and they are poisonous - DO NOT EAT THEM. People new to potato growing are sometimes confused by the term 'seed potatoes'.  They are not the green fruit that you have seen by TheSloth

Talkback: Watering vegetables
I have recently been told that you should always pinch the flowers out of potato plants. I have been growing potatoes for 35 years and have never done this. can you tell me if this is right. my potatoes have just started to flower, how do i know by John.J.R.P.

many years ago on holliday in Spain in a restuarant i had the best potatoes ever, the owner said they were Spanish and grown in sand has anybody any knowledge in sand growing or was it a joke the spuds were really great  and i wondered if anyone has by 4711

potatoes again
and healthy so far....up here in North Wales we have had alot of rain but also so lovely sunny spells....I'm looking forward to trying the potatoes as this is my 1st year growing veg..i've already had a courgette and some peas..its sooooo rewarding ..love it by flowergirl4

Vales Emerald Potatoes.
Bard we are growing are fine. Is the weather to blame?Have we left them too long before digging? Your comments/advice would be appreciated, just pleased  we only planted 10 tubers. I planted 4 tubers in a patio potato bag, my harvest was 8 golf size by lovetogarden

holey potatoes
Every year so far there have been holes in or through my potatoes. What is causing this and how can I prevent it this year. Hi wellygirl2. holey potatoes can be caused both by slugs and wireworm. If the holes are right through then wireworm could by wellygirl2

Potatoes grown in a sack

Harvesting potatoes

potato problem
Hi, Can anyone help identify this pest, if I leave my potato crop in the ground too long these tiny worm like creatures make holes and when dug up they all start to come out it is revolting.   Does anyone know any remedy for them. I do follow a crop by Daisytwo
