apple trees that grow on dwarf stock, i have never grown thase so has anyone any tips please I would be very grateful to anyone that can help .Thanks Roger I am growing raspberries for the first time so all this info is important and valuable. Just by agnes30

be cutting them down to ground level now ? if you are building a compost container out of pallets, do you put a pallet down as a base or just use the soil? can you grow raspberries in pots as I do not have a graden This may be a very silly question but, I'm a by Elisabeth

Advice on growing Raspberries
Hi all, Just hoping some of you knowledgeable, experienced gardeners can offer me some advice on growing raspberries. I have been given 10 plants which I have planted and a line, spaced about 15" apart.  I know I need to provide some support by LorraineP

pippa do know any dual season variety that produce in summer and fall There are varieties that produce raspberries over a long period but summer and autumn plants are different in way fruit is produced Autumn fruiting raspberries will produce fruit by thegreatgardener

Autumn Fruiting Raspberries
I grow quite a lot of autumn fruiting raspberries across one end of my allotment plot but the canes at the very end produce comparatively little fruit where my plot joins on to a neighbour's, whose own raspberries adjoin mine.  Conditions by Mary Camden

Veg in a shady garden
be ok in shade. They may get eaten when you're not looking though! I had good luck last year with lettuce & sprouts plus potatoes & lots of strawberries What about Raspberries? raspberries grow like weeds!! i even replanted the cut offs which have taken by LisaV

Too many raspberries
along. It's nigh on impossible to contain Raspberries and they will come up anywhere and everywhere, growing twenty feet from the parent plant with no distinction between lawn, paving or the neighbour's lawn! So, what to do about this? Some gardeners mow by Blueboots
