Ceanothus Zanzibar
Would Ceonothus Zanzibar be suitable for growing against a sunny sheltered wall? It needs a sunny sheltered position so that would be ideal. Don't plant right against the wall as it tends to be rather dry close to walls and it will need to bush out by butterflybrain

Deer proof plants and shrubs
Deer eat almost everything I plant including thorny roses.  Apart from looking in other people's gardens to see what they grow I would like any information on suitable plants and shrubs please. Owning 10 country acres includes all the wildlife.  One by patgee

Floppy Rose
it's a young plant, will it grow up and start acting like a proper rose or will I have to prop it up somehow? It's description on David Austin's website says that it has a long arching growth habit and can be used as a groundcover rose - I would by lilly3

Training climbing rose
I planted two climbing roses by my front (low) fence last year. They are doing really well, but it is now time to start training them to grow against the railings. They are growing strong and well mostly away from the fence (they get full sunlight by Lucelastic

chicken pelleted manure
? It is a cheap fertilizer- quite high in nitrogen so might not be ideal for all plants-especially flowering ones when something more balanced is required- but fine for veg when leafy growth is wanted Just depends on what you use it for or what you grow by peter privett

I have a wild rose on one side planted by previous owner of land. Do I prune it down for thicker growth , leave it ? I hate the prickly stems but lovely flowers and hips . I'd prune the older growth out. wild roses are very large plants with long by bunnysgarden

Getting rid of Blackberries
I have an unwanted blackberry plant growing in my garden. I'm not sure how it arrived, but it's right next to an old rose bush and almost in the middle of some emerging bulbs and flowers. For the last couple of years, I've tried pulling it up by Tomsk
