NNE facing and clay soil- help!
Yes, clay soil and NNE facing... Many plants do well: helebores, ferns, geranium, phlox, globe thistle, euphorbia; some do okay: astrantia, roses, geums. I need some suggestions. Have you grown plants successfully in similar conditions? If it helps by catnip

Dog friendly climbers

Will my rose bush ever flower?
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me. Last year my Mum passed away and the funeral director gave me a rose from the coffin display. I put it in water and later planted it in soil using rooting powder. For months new leaves would come and then die off by Green Fingers 1967

Queen Elizabeth rose
All the roses with this name now seem to be yellow.  Although we had a pink, fragrant, low growing bush in our garden in Gatley (Nr. Manchester), over 30 years ago which was easy to strike from cuttings and a lovely pale pink. Wondered what had by Lizzie3

Soft yellow or hot pink climbing roses
a few ideas, but was hoping for the benefit of actual growing experience... Must be strong bright pink or soft primrosy yellow - orangey or peachy yellows would be disastrous.  Ta in (optimistic) advance. Bx I would never again buy a yellow climbing by auntie betty
