Overgrown rose bush
Hi,   We moved house last year and have inherited a rose bush in the front garden. I have no idea what variety it is but I don’t think it’s had much care in the past.   It’s about 50 cm round but has grown to over 6ft tall; many of the branches by SBails

Suggestions for suitable shrub on a cliff please
in devon so you might want something more hardy. Thanks very much - lots of ideas  . The idea of looking at what wild plants are growing there and looking for cultivated varieties of them is a very good tip. I might consider species roses in this location by Liz Tunks

Naked Rose
I once had a beautiful climbing rose (Shropshire Lad),purchased for me from the Hampton Court Flower Show 2 years ago. I did all the right things when planting it and it duly flowered last year. However, towards the end of the year - before frosts by angiepangie
