veg suitable for shade.
. brassicas and spinach, lettuce and it's varients will do ok, but not their best, leeks again will do ok. You can grow lettuces and salad leaves, leafy veg such as spinach, chard, broccoli and brussels sprouts, and peas and beans. But not in full shade, OK by Sue H

Swiss chard
. What should I do with it? Leave it to do its own thing? Pull it up? Leave it-carry on pulling-I had one of these once- it didn't survive the winter If it behaves anything like perpetual spinach (a relation) it will carry on until spring by CottageGardenFairy

Is there anything that can go in now for an autumn crop ?
'm sowing chard and spinach beet now to harvest in the winter. I had to grow some more peas & beans & have just planted them out. So fingers crossed. Also cut & come again lettuce, rocket & peas for pea shoots in seed trays. Even my established courgettes by blueberry77
