summer squash
I have been trying unsucessfully to grow summer squash. I have tried outside and in the greenhouse. Each time I have flowers but no squash. Where am I going wrong? Help please! by boyedmund

Squash or Gourds ?
at they started growing as pattypans , instead of scalloped  they have like a curved hook in the nippedin bit of the scallop. They are a solid squash/gourd and yellow and green and about 4 inches across. Very decorative. I will try and get a photo  uploaded by lucky3

Pumpkins
Hi, I was very jealous watching Montys pumpkin and squash harvest. I live at the top of a fairly exposed hill, near Newcastle, it's snowing outside now. Would i actually have any chance of successfully growing pumpkins and squash or do i just by Just Giles

what to intercrop with squash?
) or something which will grow tall or find it's own way to light - beans being perfect for that! I'd go with radishes. They'll be up, matured and eaten before the squash suffocates them. Three sisters (beans, squash and corn) are the classic, since the beans by General Disarray

Butternut Squash
I have a new raised bed to grow squash and courgette in. I have grown courgette last year but never squash.I take it it is the same principle but how much space do the plants need? How many would I get in my bed with 2 plants of 2 different by Matty2

squash seed germination
Hi all I've grown squash relatively succesfully for over ten years, bt this year I've had major problems with seed germination (3 from 24). My guess is that it's been too cold, even though they are in a polytunnel, but wonder if anyone else has had by greenfingaz

Courgette Black Hawk
Has anybody else tried growing Black Hawk?  I have never had any problem growing courgettes before but these seeds have been in pots for a month and are showing no signs of germinating.  They're inside on the windowsill, alongside the squash which by Botticelliwoman

Squash
I have four squash plants in two very large containers and although there are plenty of flowers and small small fruit still developing, only one or two are actually swelling. The others started to but then stopped growing completely. The plants have by cliffbutler

Butternut squash
squash, maybe that was the problem. As with all similar plants, aubergine, melon etc. they need a long warm growing season. Hope you get some produce. You'd maybe need them under cover - it's been so cold this year that they might not get to maturity by Janhev

Squash - Yellow Leaves
Hi everyone, I have been growing a squash plant from seed (turks turban), it is still inside, in a 5" pot, and is at the 6 leaf stage. It appears to be doing ok, but I am concerned that the first two leaves are turning slightly yellow. Does anyone by Bob - UK
