Talkback: How to grow strawberries
I'm new to both the website and the world of gardening so any advice would be really helpful. I'm planting stawberries in hanging baskets for a balcony (first floor in a high rise flat. Will I be able to use the plants next year.? I'm new on here by cybergarden

advice regarding strawberries for newbie
Hello i am new to gardening and this site. I am attempting grow strawberries from seeds that I bought from seed at my local nursery. A couple have germinated and I have so far 2 very very small green seedlings. I have a small north facing rear by David 25

!My main problem when growing strawberries is the blackbirds. You will probably have to develop methods for keeping birds away, possibly using netting. Poor old Blackbird he seems to be getting the blame for the damage done to stawberry crops, I think slugs by benjamin9876

Were,s the best place to grow tomotoes can i grow in hanging basket how deep as the soil got to be in container{sun or shade} Im gonna put some stawberry,s in pots do they like sun or shade or both,ive got tomoto liquid feed is it ok for strawberry by sarahs pondlife...

greenhouse stawberrys
in around a week. thank you,after watching Beechgrove i planted them in grow bags in summer last year and they were fine because the door and vents were open, i didn't expect them to flower so early this year I'd give them a liqiud feed as soon by little-ann
