Vine problems

Bare root plants
My efforts to grow bare root plants are a disaster.  I follow the rules of soaking and spreading roots etc; but the autumn raspberries, blue verbascum, and perennial geranium, not a sign of them.  I have planted canna lilies, in pots and started by mrswick

last years compost
that was in the box to use again.Mixing in some of my fresh compost from the heaps and a little granular fertiliser I leave it to weather until next year even put a few strawberries on it, yearlings to grow on, never had any trouble that way.We use the garden soil by bartonr

Not all bad news in the garden
! dmball my strawberries were exactly the same but all my other veg is doing well I even have cucumbers growing this year and I thought they needed a lot of sun and as for my flowers they all seam to love the weather at the moment as they are all in pots I by Palaisglide

sowing seeds
in actually getting the seedlings to grow but I am blaming the poor light levels for that. What else are you struggling with? Just about everything this horrible so far year!  Veggies that won't grow, peas that are flowering but are only 8 inches high instead by RAYDO68

germinated very late as it was so cool, they seem to be making up for this and have been romping away although I think that I will be harvesting them very late this year. Happy growing everyone. I have mouldy strawberries, chocolate spot on the broad beans by YewJay

Moving flowers...
it was slug damage but not so sure now as slugs don't leave perfect round holes I'm going to grow veg in their current spot so it will help to know when they can be moved to help me decide what to grow in their place. When is the best time to transplant them by Zoomer44
