a very miserable lady.
that grows only whatever plants it is that you want, as they will be the experts. thank you Bookertoo - one question - do I need to take them indoors in the Winter or am I able to grow them  in the ground.?  Here in South Wales we have some good old frosts by dudsybabe1

New Gardener . . . New House . . . What would you plant?
in the planter.  I ripped both of them out.  The shrub I left wass the smallest of the three.  The planter that is attached to the house is not that wide (1 ft) and not that deep (1 ftish).  There's a trellis which you could grow something up.  I could also rip by lakerhater

slug pellets
a lot less slugs recently,even though we've been having very wet weather.  The blackbird nesting in the tree at the back is also very busy! You can get 'growing success' ones that claim they don't harm wildlife, I've used them in the past but won by weejenny

Talkback: Slugs, rain and nematodes
had the time to grow plants from seed and have been really pleased with my success - until I put then in the garden. Then I think every slug and snail from miles around makes a beeline for my little plot! Slug killer only seems to attract even more by Mary

Is this weeding?
reason, that he is unable to explain, whilst "weeding" he managed to chop down a six foot hollybush, a mature lilac tree, remove a hedge and lop branches (back to the trunk) of another 40 year old tree! He would only say "it'll grow back" but did accept by Chyperie

and sunflower seeds we put out for the birds, put cats have found their spot and now they seem to only come out early morning. So I have safeguarded a spot for them, with their own peanuts and sunflower seeds. They hve shared our space for four years now. Like by Agatha
