this week that were selling seeds half-price so I bought some Winston Churchill sweet peas for next year, us gardeners are such optimists. Yes I did the same the last two years and they all worked well and at 50% of the usual price. Have bought some more by chilli lover

Bolted!
peas should be recognizable by the tendrils that they produce to climb, whilst tomato leaves have a distinct smell when you touch them. The sweet peas really should be outside by now - as already suggested, put them outside during the day. Hope you by Tootles

I have sown some tomato seeds this weekend and sweet pea. It is just great to be out in the garden, and it is lovely to walk into a lovely warm greenhouse. I have my little heaters in my greenhouses and it keeps them nice and warm. My fuchsias by donutsmrs

Talkback: Hardy annuals
to flower without the hassle of sowing in pots and planting out. What do others think? I agree with Antonia - Sweet peas are so easy to grow and from just one packet of seeds you get a lovely, fragrant garden display and still loads of bunches for the house by Antonia
