It Is Not Spring Yet !!!
so nearly Impossible to do anything. So I suppose I'll have to wait until its a lot more dryer before I attempt to put anything in the raised beds. Oo and I have also sowed my first lot of sweet pea's (I know I should have waited but will see how by sotongeoff

July in the garden!!
to be shrivelling. To add insult to injury the BBC have removed the GW episodes from iPlayer! On the apple problem has anyone any idea why this would be, or is it down to the wettest June on record? The 3 cordons which are growing in the ground seem fine - so far I by gardeningfantic

collect my slugs and snails and feed them to my chickens I heard that growing french marigolds keeps slugs away so I gave it a go last summer and hey it worked !!! going too use it in my greenhouse again this year and they look pretty too slugs don't like by smokeyjack

The Blessing of a new Allotment
on the kitchen windowsill. I'm growing some sweet peas up a obelisk (well they are starting to show through the ground now) and they and the lavender will hopefully attract some bees. Ha - your leeks must be further developed than mine - they look pathetic by Dean Lovett
