herbs
, trying to reach the light. Then what do you do with them if it's still too cold for an unheated greenhouse? It depends what you are looking to grow herb wise. Is it traditional herbs like Rosemary, Thyme, Parsley etc or more of your uncommon ones? by Marg48

Talkback: Growing herbs
one with pink flowers succumbed to the frost. Garlic and rosemary just transform roast potatoes. Thyme likes to grow in crazy paving and sage bushes always look good as well as going well with onions in stuffing. I have a lovely plant of Lady's Smock by Margaret

Topol and Rasputin were surnames! I always grow herbs every year and get a good turn out every year. The problem is that herbs grow so much that other herbs don't get light and if they are sprouts then they could quite possible die. How can I stop by James A-S

growing so won't take over.  Rosemary is also evergreen and lives quite a while if it is happy with soil conditions.  Sage has lovely blue flowers and can also last for several years if cut back when it gets leggy.  Bees go crazy for any of the thymes. Oh by garjobo
