Talkback: Growing herbs
Topol and Rasputin were surnames! I always grow herbs every year and get a good turn out every year. The problem is that herbs grow so much that other herbs don't get light and if they are sprouts then they could quite possible die. How can I stop by James A-S

what can I plant that's low maintenance?
kitchen-gardening so am going to put a thyme plant which is currently in a bucket out the front in the patch but that will only take up a small part of the patch...I'll also put in another rosemary and another lavender plant but have no idea what else by countrybumpkin

helped ease the soreness. This is a great article - will also save me from expensive Boots bills! i am going to give thease a try i have lavender, rosemary, sage, acouple types of mint and thyme growing already and am going to sow other herbs by bulgaria

I'm looking for suggestions of good ground covering plants. It's for a border area, around the edge of a lawn with a large hedge behind the border. I'm looking for plants that will spread a thick "carpet" the width and length of the border, not grow by Kevin

Bee friendly plants for hanging baskets
 most wildlife-friendly plants! You could try herbs such as thyme, chives, rosemary, sage, mint and marjoram etc which are good for beneficial insects and useful in the kitchen.  Lavender is always a winner, and I found that the bees were attracted to gazania by Bowdeeka
