Timing for seedling planting with this weather?
all my seedlings my husband bought me a proper one. Seeds have got off to a good start and plenty of room for growbags and pots, planning on growing tomatoes, cucumbers and chillies. Allotmentmax..I have a plastic cold frame it brill its about 1 meter by Kiwi gardener

Flower free camelia
in the current RHS magazine about growing camellias in pots. Thanks for your comments. Pretty sure I haven't over fed it though and I read they don't need pruning.It's about 2 -3 feet high. Its not a plant that needs yearly pruning, only when its reachd your by lilly3

Potatoes in bags
Hi all I'm a gardening newbie and I've planted a few chitted seed potatoes in grow bags today.  Am I right in thinking that I only have to protect the leafy bits from frost when they start to poke through?  And will a home-made cloche (recycled milk by bexlloyd

, we feed it with erricacious feed and mulch but still no flowers. Any ideas please. Dai I would incorporate giving it some potash  in the form of Tomato feed, (Tomorite) as this helps initaites flowers and fruits. It may just be lacking this, so worth by dai

it sets, thus attaching the frame to the concrete in the ground. The greenhouse screws onto the frame. This meant I could have an earth floor for growing things eg tomatoes. It hasn't blown away yet! At first I had a Parasene heater, then OH put up a cable by bunnysgarden
