Tomato blight
 continues, growing tomatoes outdoors will be a thing of the past.....the spores of blight flourish in warm damp conditions. Growing in a greenhouse does give some degree of protection as the foliage remains dry for the most part. The only advice I could offer by Janiesings

Can anyone tell me a GOOD variety of cherry tomato for growing in a hanging basket ? It will be in a sunny position and i would like it to be a heavy cropper. Hi Andrew You could try 'Garden Pearl' (aka 'Gartenperle'), it's a compact bush variety by Andrew Short

Can I reuse, or should I discard?
I always keep the stakes to reuse next year. But is this a good idea?  Every year my tomatoes get Blight. And what about the containers I grow the tomatoes in? I always  wash these out before storing. Thanks for advice. Maggie I believe by staffsmags

what to do
I am new at gardening, I have Parsnips in tubs and some in a small patch, My garden is 10mx10m, lawn in center, 4mx6m, so not alot for growing , lots of pots ,Ihave just lifted my dalias , stored in a tub with shreded paper, we had a frost last week by BW

Need help with tomato plants
For 2 years I have tried to grow tomatoes in my greenhouse. Every time, the tomatoes seem to grow out of hand!!! I've put them in cages, tied them to sticks, always prune them, and try to find determinite types but even those didnt stop growing by pierox38

Grafted tomato plants
Anyone grow grafted tomato plants? I did but got blight. Still had a reasonable crop but I'm not sure if standard tomatoes are much different. Been growing toms for a few years but don't seem to get as many as I think I should,do. Should foliage by Verdun

Chillies to do their own thing Pam x So do I. They don't grow to the size or bulk of tomato plants, hence no need to worry about side shoots. by Peter/

what are the best
Hi could eny body tell we what are the best tasting tomatoes plants to grow please As I have jest started up For growing under glass?-heated or unheated?-or for growing outside? I myself like the cherry tomatoes . I think the sweetest cherry one by Jason Raymond

Thanks soooo much for the advice here on tomatoes. we have suffered for the last three years with the growing of tomatoes. At the moment we have plants that have Blossom End Rot and also Leaf Mould. At least now we can get it right for next year by tenerifetel

this time of year. No blight at all on my outside tomatoes after two blighty years - gloriana! I've still got Cara growing. Masses of new stems came after the drought conditions broke. not a sign of blight yet. i have lots of green toms, could i have your by WarwickshireDrooper
